This page provides information and policies that Walkden Methodist Church has adopted to manage the Covid-19 risk when re-opening the church building.

The church is currently CLOSED for public acts of worship & most external groups in line with government restrictions from 5th November 2020 until further notice.

All worship is currently online via our worship page.

When the building is able to re-open Walkden Methodist Church will continue to be committed to ensuring our building remains Covid Secure for our users.

The church has developed risk assessments and policies which all groups using the building are required to comply with.

The primary aim for everything we are doing through this coronovirus pandemic is to as practically as possible protect everyone who uses our building.

This is part of being both responsible as a church in our community and the rest of humankind.

We hope this provides some transparency to our users and the community outside to help understand what we are doing to ensure safety.
