Walkden Methodist Church operates two sites, one on Manchester Road East Walkden, which is the main Church facility and a Community Hall on Memorial Road, Walkden.

Manchester Road East Site

Each of the two facilities is maintained to meet current standards including Disability Discrimmination Act compliant providing where disabled access to both sites.

Each site offers different accomodation for different needs.

We offer our premises to rents to the Community and would encourage enquiries to rent our building. A breif discription of our sites are detailed below. MANCHESTER ROAD EAST SITE The Manchester Road site offers a modern building, with the main Church hall being multi functional to be as adaptable as possible, with ancillary rooms which can be split into multiple rooms or as one large room. There is a large kitchen with male, female and disabled toilets. The site has disabled access to be welcoming and inviting to all members of the community.

As well as the main building there is a standalone facility adjoined to the main building known as the 'Wesley Centre' which has a small kitchen, toilets (male, female and disabled) and a main small hall that can be used as one large room or it can be split into a maximum of three smaller rooms.

This site also has a large car parking facility at the rear of the building accomodating circa 45 parking spaces.

This site is suitable for the following activities:

conferences
training courses / workshops
various meeting groups
children's birthday parties (maximum age of children's birthday parties is aged 10yrs)

Walkden Methodist Church welcome enquiries to rent our property and various rates apply dependnat on activity, duration etc. Terms and Conditions apply.

The Memorial Road site offers a large hall, and ancillary rooms split over two floors. There is no access for wheelchairs to the first floor meeting room. There is a kitchen with male, female and disabled toilets. The site has disabled access to the ground floor and main hall. Limited parking is avaiable for no more than 9 cars on the site.
