30th October 2008 ---- FUNDRAISING CONTINUES:
Walkden Methodist Church as part of its initiative to become community focused is current;y fundraising to provide an extension of the existing Manchester Road Site to provide more community rooms to enable their mission to commence.
The Fundraising has been ongoing for the last 12 months in which approximatle £8,500.00 has been raised through lots of had work and committment.
