Throughout the year the church has special services during Christian Festivals. This page will contain details of these. Our next set of special services will be throughout Easter. Deatils to be published here soon.

Walkden Methodist Church currently hosts morning and evening services each sunday. The times of the services are detailed below:

The Church throughout the year hosts additional special services at special Christian festivals such as Christmas, Easter and Harvest. Any additional services will be publicised here and within the Church as and when dates are confirmed. Please see above for further details entitled "Special Services"

There is a family parade service on the first Sunday of each month where the Uniformed Organisations such as Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides join us for worship.

Generally the services within the month follow the below structure.

Walkden Methodist Church at regular services offer a sunday school, where children and young people are taught using various modern teaching techniques together at a level they understand.

Currently Walkden Methodsit Church Sunday School offers 4 groups for children and young people from Babies to teenagers.

1st Sunday Parade and Family Service

2nd Sunday Regular Service with Sunday School

3rd Sunday Regular Service with Sunday School

4th Sunday Regular Service with Sunday School

Beginners Babies to age 4 children

Primary School year 1 to school year 2 (age 4 to approx age 6)

Juniors School year 3 to school year 6 (age 7 to approx age 11)

Seniors School year 7 upwards (age 11 onwards)
